DeleteThat's awesome!!! We had our pre-construction meeting yesterday :)
ReplyDeleteYeah! That's great. The PM has a very extensive RH checklist that they cover. They will go over every option you selected and all your Change Orders. I would bring copies of everything you've signed. It's probably not likely they will not have a copy but I did notice that he SR had it but the PM didn't. The PM will mark on the plans all your options, show you where they will go and indicate any additional outlets, lights, plumbing, etc. I held most of my questions and just kept a mental note of what they were and checked them off as we went along. Nearly every question I had was answered by the end of the meeting. They may not be answered in the order that you think of them but the PM will get to them. You may want to just bring a pad of paper and check them off as you go. I noticed when we interrupted him, it took him a minute to get back on track and due to the interruption, we ran the risk of him missing something. If I did it again, I wouldn't interrupt him at all and just sit and listen until the end, then ask the questions that didn't get checked off. After the meeting in the Sales Office we went out and walked the lot. We were probably more familiar with it then he was at this point, so not much to see here but he was able to show us where our utilities were going to be, what the grade should look like for drainage, where the property lines were, etc.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and Congrats!
